Lovely to meet up with @hywelacapela of @acapelastudiosofficial at Tabernacle Chapel in Barry yesterday to see first-hand the plans developing to transform this historic building into a new arts and music venue for the town.
Once a Welsh language chapel that has stood since 1894 and sadly closed its doors in December 2019, the space is now entering a new chapter rooted in music, creativity and community. Mae’n gyfle i greu man creadigol yng nghanol y dref, lle gall pobl y Barri a thu hwnt ddod at ei gilydd i rannu cerddoriaeth a mwynhau’r celfyddydau.
It feels like a meaningful investment in the cultural life of Barry, and we cannot wait to hear music filling the building once again. Cyffrous iawn!

End of last year we had the absolute joy of welcoming the brain doctor himself, bestselling author @drdeanburnett as a Medi PR client.

We worked together on developing his shiny new website in partnership with @neats33 and helping mark the ten year anniversary of his million selling global hit The Idiot Brain. A book about how messy our brains are that sold globally and made a lot of people feel better about their own.

We’ve just had our first meeting of the year and made a valiant attempt to get the new website in the background of the photo because we’re so proud of it. Great meeting. Crap framing.

Sometimes stepping away from work is exactly what’s needed to reconnect with what inspires us.

On Wednesday, I went to see the planet’s very own rockstar mother earth, Alanis Morissette, live in Cardiff.

I bought Jagged Little Pill at 17 and it was the soundtrack for many years to come. The lyrics are even more meaningful today than they were then and reminder of just how important voices like hers are in empowering women and girls across the globe.

Bringing the story of the @jessfishlock mural to the world has been one of the proudest moments in our work. Rooted in the community and unveiled in the heart of Splott, this mural is more than a tribute. It’s a celebration of legacy, visibility and the communities behind the game.
